JAKARTA - Instagram chief Adam Mosseri and Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg announced that they are testing a new poll feature in the Instagram comments column.

"New test alert. Do you have a question for your followers? We started a small exam to add a poll or select one in the comments of feed or reel posts," Mosseri wrote on his broadcast channel on Friday, October 20.

After launching the ability to be able to send GIFs to the comments column from Instagram feed posts or reels, it seems that this new poll feature is a new innovation.

Based on the screenshot uploaded by Mosseri, the way this feature works will work will be similar to the poll feature on platform X. Where you can add more than two options or up to four options.

"We're always looking for new ways to interact with friends and content creators. If you see this test, tell us what you think," he concluded.

Not only that, some time ago, the platform also announced it was testing options for a more customized Stories experience based on Close Friends. This new feature allows users to create multiple lists for certain content for certain groups of people.

On the other hand, Meta has also just launched a broadcast channel to Facebook and Messenger, which gives creators how to update their followers without having to post on their home page.
