JAKARTA - Rachel Zegler tries to stay in the midst of criticism about her role. The actress realized she was the center of criticism when she was announced as the main character in Disney's Snow White live action film.

This criticism looks similar because it is ethnic, such as criticism directed at Halle Bailey when she was announced to be playing Ariel in the film The Little Mermaid.

Through his latest tweet, Zegler uploaded several photos of his childhood. She was seen wearing a Disney princess-style dress in various costumes at Disneyland when she was four years old.

"I really appreciate the love I feel from those who defend me online," Rachel Zegler wrote on her Twitter account.

"But please, don't tag me in the discussion doesn't make sense about my acting. I really, don't want to see it," he continued.

"So I leave you these photos. I hope all the kids know they can become princess no matter what," Zegler said.

especially appreciate of the love I feel from those defaulting me online, but please don't tag me in the nonsensical disclose about my casting. i really, truly do not want to see it.so I leave you w these photos! i hope every child knows they can be a princess no matter what pic.twitter.com/AU5PjJutK5

The live-action version of Snow White was directed by Marc Webb with a script written by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson. Apart from Zegler, so far only Gal Gadot is said to have joined this film as Evil Queen.

The music was done by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul who collaborated a lot with Disney for their films.

Snow White was also criticized for her story, according to what actor Peter Dinklage said. In an interview, he was surprised because they adapted the stories about the seven mosquitoes that were seen in the original story.

I was a little surprised when they were very proud to choose the Latina actress as Snow Princess. You still tell the story of Snow White and Seven Dwarfs. Take a step back and see what you're doing here. It doesn't make sense to me. You're progressive in one way and you're still making a back story about the seven rungs living in the cave together," said Dinklage.

Disney responded to criticism from the stunted actors that they would take a different approach from the seven characters. However, they have not been able to explain the story because the production process is still ongoing.

The Snow White film is planned to air in March 2024.
