Lake Toba's Powerboat F1 Tickets Are Sold Starting At IDR 200,000, InJourney: Last Year Sold Out In One Hour

JAKARTA - PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney said that sales of Powerboat F1 tickets can be purchased online via tiket.com. Ticket prices are priced starting at IDR 200,000.

For your information, InJourney will again present a Powerboat F1 on Lake Toba, North Sumatra.

This international racing event will be held from 2 to 3 March 2024.

"Visitors who want to witness the greatness of F1Powerboat racers can buy tickets online at tiket.com starting today, and offline at the Toba Regency Tourism Office starting on February 27, 2024," said Director of Marketing and Tourism Program InJourney Maya Watono when met by VOI at her office, Monday, February 19.

Maya said that Lake Toba's F1 Powerboat tickets were divided into three categories, namely the Festival at a price of Rp. 200,000, Grandstand A for Rp. 500,000, and Grandstand B for Rp. 500,000.

Furthermore, Maya said that with ticket prices starting at IDR 200,000, visitors can enjoy the excitement of the F1 Powerboat match which will be followed by international class racers and various entertainment such as music concerts that present top Indonesian bands such as Wali, Radja, and Ada Band.

In addition, continued Maya, there is also AIC or Aquabike Indonesia Championship which will also be held in conjunction with the F1 Powerboat event.

Therefore, Maya invited to buy tickets immediately. The reason is, Lake Toba's F1 Powerboat ticket last year was sold out within an hour.

"The experience then sold out within 1 hour. So hopefully it can all be fast," he said.

Meanwhile, the Deputy for Tourism and Creative Economy Coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Creative Economy, Odo RM Manuhutu, said that his party was taking several strategic steps in an effort to realize the target of the Proud Travel program in Indonesia.

The target is to increase domestic travel by 1.25 to 5 billion trips in 2024 with the potential for tourism income reaching Rp. 3,500 trillion, the government encourages various international event efforts including in 5 Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP) as one of Lake Toba.

"We took several strategic steps, including holding international level events such as F1Powerboat and Aquabike Jetski Championship, then strengthening quality tourism aspects, especially on land and air transportation accessibility, compiling travel patterns on Lake Toba so that tourists can stay longer here, not to forget the development of tourist villages that focus on Toba's cultural and social wealth," said Odo.

With all these efforts, Odo believes Lake Toba tourism can provide benefits for the economy, environment, and community welfare.

ITDC Operations Director, Troy Reza Waroka said F1 Powerboat 2024 is the second time it has been held in Lake Toba. Where this year various excitement and different performances from the previous year will be presented.
