JAKARTA - A boy named Raples was attacked by a crocodile while fishing with his father, Muhri (45) in Kolong Kebun Sawit, Tanah Merah Village, Central Bangka Regency, Friday, September 29.

From Muhri's statement, he and his favorite son were fishing in the flow of Sawit Gardens at around 16.01 WIB.

Suddenly while fishing, a crocodile suddenly pounced on the boy.

Muhri had tried to save her child from being attacked by a crocodile, but to no avail.

Furthermore, the victim's father reported to local residents to ask for help. Then the residents forwarded the report to the Pangkalpinang Search and Rescue Office.

"After receiving this information, the Pangkalpinang Search and Rescue Office dispatched 1 Rescue Team to the scene and opened a Joint SAR Operation," said Head of Pangkalpinang Kansar, I Made Oka Astawa, Friday, September 29.

As of Friday night, the victim had not been found by the joint SAR team. The team is still searching in rubber boats.
