Mario Dandy's Apology Seems Meaningless To David Ozora's Father

JAKARTA - The defendant Mario Dandy Satriyo apologized to Jonathan Latumahina for his acts of persecution against David Ozora.

However, the request seemed meaningless to Jonathan. Because, he did not respond much and instead asked the trial process to continue.

Mario conveyed the apology when the Panel of Judges gave the opportunity to respond to Jonathan's testimony during the trial.

"I as the main actor convey my concern to David and convey my deepest apologies from my heart," Mario said during a trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, June 13.

Then, Mario also had time to express his rebuttal to Jonathan's testimony about being said to have played guitar at the Pesanggrahan Police. According to him, he never did it.

"I've never touched the guitar," Mario said.

Mario also denied Jonathan's statement that his father, Rafael Alun Trisambodo, would save him from prison.

"I object to what I say my father wants to save it," said Mario.

Then, the panel of judges gave Jonathan the opportunity to respond. However, he seemed not to really care and asked the panel of judges to continue the trial.

"Just continue in court, Your Majesty," said Jonathan.

David Ozora was persecuted by Mario Dandy Satriyo in front of the Grand Permata cluster complex, Boulevard Kel. Ulujami, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, on Monday 20 February 20, 2023 at around 20.30 WIB.

As a result of the abuse, David suffered injuries all over his body. In fact, he suffered up to two weeks of injuries.

In this case Mario Dandy was charged with committing serious abuse. He was charged with Article 355 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code junto Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code Subsidiary 353 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code junto Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code or to 2 Article 76 C junto Article 50 paragraph 2 of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection junto Article 55 Paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Shane Lukas is suspected of being a subsidiary to Article 355 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code Junto Article 55 Paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code and subsidiary to Article 355 paragraph 2 junto Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the second Criminal Code with Article 355 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code junto 56 to 2 of the Criminal Code.
