A foreign national (WNA) named Monica Anglina Bartlett (69) from Australia died after falling in the bathroom of a hotel or inn in the Mandalika area, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara.
"The victim's body has been taken to a hospital in Mataram," said Head of the Mandalika Regional Police, Iptu Kadek Suhendra in Praya, quoted from Antara, Monday, May 29.

"After a few minutes in the room, the victim's husband heard a voice from the bathroom," he said.
After checking, the victim was already face down in the bathroom, then the victim's husband called the witness to ask for help to be brought to Kuta emergency to get help.
However, according to the doctor who was on duty at the time in Kuta emergency said the victim had died.
"The condition of the victim when he arrived in Kuta Emergency was already dead with a sign of bruises on the corpse and there was no pulse and there were torn wounds on his chin, about 5 centimeters wide," he said.
Before leaving Bali to Kuta, the victim was already sick, namely nausea and stomach pain and wounds on the victim's chin, possibly due to a collision with the bathroom floor.
Because there was no storage of the bodies in Kuta Emergency, then the bodies of the victims were deposited at the Mataram City Hospital.
"From the victim's husband's side, he asked that his wife's body be buried in his home country in Australia," he said.
