President Jokowi: 3 Packages Of Vitamin-Drugs For COVID-19 Self-Isolation Patients Are Free, Not For Sale!
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo has ensured that the drug and vitamin packages given to residents who are undergoing self-isolation (isoman) on the islands of Java and Bali are not traded.
"These three packages of self-isolation drugs are not for sale", said President Jokowi at the Launching of Free Isoman Drug Packages for the People at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday, July 15.
Of the 300 thousand packages of drugs and vitamins distributed, the government divided them into three packages, namely package 1 containing vitamins for residents with positive asymptomatic PCR (polymerase chain reaction) results or OTG.
Package 2 contains vitamins and medicine for residents with positive PCR with complaints of fever and loss of smell and lastly contains vitamins and medicine for residents with positive PCR with complaints of fever and dry cough.
"The supply is prepared by the SOE minister, which is produced by pharmaceutical SOEs and then the distribution will be coordinated by the National Armed Force (TNI) Commander, who will coordinate with the regional government, to the village government, as well as involve the public health center, Village Advisory Officer (babinsa) and neighborhood administrators", explained the President.
The President also asked for strict supervision in the field in the distribution of this free elf-isolation drug. TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto on the same occasion added that access to the free medicine and vitamin packages was through the triage of public health center or village midwives.
"Are they OTG, ODG (People With Symptoms) mild, moderate or severe? So that the data is already owned by the village midwife or public health center", said Commander Hadi.

Meanwhile, to prevent leakage of drug distribution, Hadi Tjahjanto explained that the distribution will be monitored by the health of the Military Area Command (Kodam), Military District Commander (Kodim), and Military District Command (Koramil), and Village Advisory Officer (Babinsa).
"This will also be accompanied by public health center officers and village midwives who have a list of who is undergoing self-isolation. The distribution will be adjusted to the data held by the public health center with the requirements determined by the public health center", added Hadi.
Drug storage will be carried out at the Kodim office because according to Hadi, there must be supervision, data collection, and recording of drug entry and exit.
"I urge the people in the village, neighborhood units if they really want to get the drug, please convey it to the village midwife, then the public health center officers after the data is available, the Babinsa will give the drug package to the community in need and be escorted by the village midwife, as well as public health center officers", Hadi explained.
