JAKARTA - Kaspersky launched the Academy Alliance, its new partnership program for higher education institutions, to integrate Kaspersky's latest cybersecurity and technology expertise into teaching.

Kaspersky Academy Alliance, is part of the company's commitment to developing cybersecurity skills and knowledge worldwide.

According to the global cybersecurity company, the contribution to education is part of their mission to build a safer world and a prosperous society.

For more than a decade Kaspersky has collaborated with higher education institutions, shared knowledge with students, organized contests, conferences, and opened internship opportunities.

Kaspersky Academy Alliance offers two types of membership: association membership and continuation. Both are suitable for higher education institutions that have Informatics, Applied Information or Computer Science training programs in its portfolio, training more than 400 undergraduate and specialist students, and more than 50 master students each year.

Meanwhile, continued options have additional requirements for organizations to provide training on information security for at least 50 students.

The program combines Kaspersky's in-depth insight into university needs, and understanding of the most effective educational format.
