The "Ghibli" Orkestra Music Concert Held Again September 13-14, What's New?

JAKARTA - Trinity Youth Symphony Orchestra (TRUST) together with Ciputra Artpreneur will again hold the 8th "The Legends" orchestral music concert series with the theme "Symphonic Tales from Ghibli" on 9 -10 September 2023 at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta.

A similar concert was presented on May 13-14, 2023 at the same location and at that time all tickets were sold out in a matter of hours since opening to the public.

"For the high public enthusiasm for this concert titled Ghibli, we decided to hold this concert again," said TRUST's Music Director & Conductor Nathania Karina at a press conference in Jakarta, Friday.

He said the concert would present a new song, different from before and focused on Ghibli instead of covering the theme song DreamWorks.

"For this September, we dropped the DreamWorks. Not because the interest was bad but because there were several Ghibli songs that were very iconic but at that time we had not had time to bring them," said Nia.

Quoting Antara, apart from songs, he and the team will also present several new arrangements. Later, four shows will be held for two days.

The "The Legends" concert presents a movie soundtrack with a different theme every year. Organizers present music that is known to the general public so that more people can enjoy orchestral music.

"('The Legends') once a year usually, this year we made it twice. This is not in the program, because of high enthusiasm," said Nia.

This year, TRUST is preparing two concerts as the main ones, namely "The Legends 9 - Adventures from Disney-Pixar" which will be held from November 4 to November 5, 2023.

"In November, our signature will be every first week of November. There are three shows, namely two on the 4th and one on the 5th (November)," said Nia.

In the same press conference, Ciputra Artpreneur producer Adi Wijananda said concert tickets will go on sale on October 10, 2023.

He added, since the pandemic began to enter the endemic, many art performances have been held with a high number of viewers.

Then, specifically for the "The Legends" concert, he and his team said they were enthusiastic about waiting for him and hoped to give an unforgettable impression to all audiences, both familiar and for the first time attending an orchestral concert.
