Bring Me The Horizon Delays Release Of HUMAN POST: NeX GEn, This Is The Cause

JAKARTA - Bring Me The Horizon has postponed the release date of their upcoming album, POST HUMAN: NeX GEn.

The follow-up album from POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR, which was released three years ago, is scheduled for September 15.

However, the frontman of Bring Me The Horizon, Oli Sykes, has now confirmed through a statement on his official social media that the album was postponed due to an "unexpected situation" that made the band "unable to complete recordings according to the standards we enjoy".

No new release date has yet been announced, but Sykes promised fans it was near.

"So I got bad news... the nex gene won't be present on September 15," he wrote.

"Unexpected situation makes us unable to complete the recording according to the standards we want. I hope that despite the setbacks, we can finish it on time for you, but there are still a lot of small details that I want to perfect and until everything works out, I'm not willing to give it to you. We haven't been able to give you a new date yet, but know that this is close... & I know you guys have been very patient but you have to be more patient."

However, Sykes has shared the album's cover artwork, designed by my muse and his wife Alissic.

Sebelumnya, Sykes mengatakan kepada NME dirinya akan menggambarkan album tersebut sebagai unhinging' dan mengungkapkan bahwa album tersebut sangat terinspirasi oleh emo dan hardcore.

"Linkin Park was the first band I entered, but when I found Glassjaw was when I became obsessed with music and knew I wanted to be a singer, so this album paid tribute to that," Sykes said backstage. Download.

"I'm not going to say this is a hyper-pop album, but I'm definitely inspired by that world. I admire how annoying music feels, out of quality, and in front of you, that's what makes me interested when I explore emo, hardcore, and screamo," he continued.

"It's not that we lost that in our music, but along with the development of a bigger band, everything became more perfect. I want to go the other way around. Let's let's let go, let's stop trying to make all the edges smooth."

Meanwhile, Bring Me The Horizon is scheduled to appear at the Hammersonic After Party girl Ravel Entertainment on November 10 and 11, at Ancol Beach City Stadium, Jakarta.
