Noel Gallagher Concert In New York Canceled Due To Bomb Threat, Garbage Confused

JAKARTA - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Bird Concert in New York was canceled in the middle of the road due to the threat of a bomb.

During Gallagher's concert at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs on Saturday, July 8, a message appeared on the screen at the venue instructing people to proceed to the exit.

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, the show will not continue," the message reads.

The Taman NYS police later confirmed that the threat of a bomb was the reason for the sudden cancellation of the event.

New York State Police, Saratoga Springs City Police, Troy Police, and Saratoga Co Sheriff's Department responded to the threat of a bomb at the Saratoga Performance Art Center on Saturday, police said in a statement.

"Out of extreme caution, the concert was suspended at 9:40 p.m. Saturday and concert audiences evacuated without incident".

An update then reads: "It's a bomb threat, according to the NYS Park Police."

They added: "K9 completed sweeping the place after the crowd came out, with a negative result. The incident is under investigation. This case will be investigated as, Making a Terrorism Threat, Felony Class D."

The evacuation of the venue came after both supporting actions, Metric and Garbage, had already played their opening set. Garbage took to Twitter to share that they were not aware of the situation.
