Malina Moye Releases Say My Name, An Inspirational and Hopeful Anthem

JAKARTA - Guitarist sensation Malina Moye has released a new single, Say My Name, with a music video directed by filmmaker Marc Fusco. This clip premiered on January 18.

Say My Name is taken from Malina's new album, Dirty, which will be released on March 17 via WCE Records.

Produced by Bjorn “Polarbear ” Soderberg (Neyo, Kendrick Lamar, Nikk SIXX), through this song, Malina presents an infectious groove that combines her own pop, rock, and soul sounds.

It is a high-energy song lyrically filled with hope, inspiration, and a soulful desire to win complemented by a soulful blues rock solo.

“Saying someone's name forces you to understand a person's story and see it as a person and not just as a number or hashtag,” says Malina.

Speaking of Dirty, Malina said her upcoming album talks about "taking the high road when other people have made mistakes, which is really hard to do".

“But forgiving others is not for them, it is for you to develop and grow. The songs on this album take you on the emotional journey that a person goes through before you reach the stage of forgiveness," Malina told American Songwriter.

Malina will kick off her Dirty tour in Austria and Germany in April and will soon announce summer dates in the United States.

"Since the pandemic, so much has happened and I can't wait to see you all and share this new album," she said.
