Daihatsu Colors The GIIAS 2023 Event By Showing The Modified Version Of Ayla

JAKARTA - Daihatsu is one of many automotive manufacturers to also color the world's largest automotive exhibition in Indonesia, the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).

In addition to presenting several ranks of his newest products and introducing technology in his booth, Daihatsu also brought a vehicle model that caught the attention of visitors at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

Through PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM), the manufacturer displays modification works of its flagship LCGC car under the name Daihatsu Ayla Sport, which has a sporty look more than the standard.

PT ADM's Marketing and Corporate Director, Sri Agung Handayani, said the modified car was a form of commitment for young people in the company by changing everything to Daihatsu Ayla.

"Not only able to show for EVs, starting from Ayla (EV) we also make Vizion-F. This time we are also challenging the Ayla segment which we just launched from March," said Sri Agung during the GIIAS 2023 event at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Wednesday, August 16.

Using the base of Daihatsu Ayla 1.2 R CVT, the modified car focuses on the exterior of vehicles with qualified comfort in the cabin sector, such as seats and dashboards. However, PT ADM still prioritizes safety in this car.

This car is wrapped by the selection of orange color which is quite tempting in order to leave a different impression from other Daihatsu staff products at GIIAS 2023.

The cabin part is also given the same touch of orange accents as the exterior sector and decorated with gray layers as a whole. To leave the sporty impression, the headrest was given the words "Ayla Sport".

The car is intended to be exhibited and inspired by modified artists to design new things on its Daihatsu car. Daihatsu Ayla is sold at prices ranging from IDR 135.8 million to IDR 154.6 million.

Along with Ayla Sport's display, PT ADM opened registration for the 2023 Daihatsu Dress Up e-Challenge (DDeC) modified race by presenting two competitions, namely Real Car Modification and Virtual Car Modification.

Apart from Ayla Sport, Daihatsu is also showing off vehicles that will attract public attention during the GIIAS 2023 event, such as the Vizion-F concept car and the Xenia Limited Edition special display.
