Welcoming GIIAS 2023, Citroen Will Present A New Car

JAKARTA - The 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) automotive exhibition will be held in August. PT Indomobil Group, as the distributor of Citroen Indonesia, said it would bring its new product.

Tan Kim Piauw, as the Advisory Board of the Indomobil Group, said that his party was in talks with Citroen France. He hopes to bring the latest Citroen products to the country.

"Yes, we hope that through our discussion with the French, there will be some of their products that are not yet available in Indonesia and we really want to bring them here. So, we hope that there will be no obstacles because this concerns a new product," said Indomobil Group Advisory Board Tan Kim Piauw quoted from ANTARA, Sunday 7 May.

He said that his party was still in the coordination stage with the central authorities regarding the latest products that would later land and be introduced at GIIAS 2023.

"We are still in the concept and frankly it is not final 100 percent with Stellantis, we are trying to introduce some of the products owned by Citroen besides those that we have brought to Indonesia," he explained.

So far, Citroen has spread its wings to the Indonesian automotive market by introducing three models, such as C3 Manual, C4, and C5.

It is not yet certain what model will be introduced by Citroen Indonesia, but for further details it will soon be known at the event which will take place at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
