AAMA 2023 Adds Category For MUA Beginner, Arman Armano: We Need Regeneration

JAKARTA - ARMAN ARMANO MAKEUP AWARDS (AAMA) 2023 makeup competition was held again on November 21, 2023 at the Sasana Kriya TMII Grand Ballroom in Jakarta. Entering season 4, Arman Armano as the initiator of the event explained that he wanted to find regeneration in the world of makeup artists through the competition.

"Yes, what is certain is that as a senior make-up artist, I don't want to think about myself but also what I think can have an impact on the MUA world while providing a forum to a beginner MUA," explained Araman Aramano on the sidelines of the event.

"We need regeneration, hopefully after our generation there will also be successors," he continued.

This year there were approximately 1000 participants who participated since the early stages and were screened for 170 participants who qualified for the grand final.

"If the 1000s pass to the 170s Grand Final," he explained.

"Today there are five categories, namely Bold Glam Makeup for Traditional Wedding, Soft Glam Makeup for Nusantara Wedding, Simply Flawless Makeup for International Wedding, Fantasy Beauty Makeup and Natural Makeup for Beginner MUA," said Arman Armano.

No responsibility, the prize provided by AAMA 2023 reached Rp500,000,000. In addition to Trophy and hundreds of millions of cash, scholarships for schools at Arman Armano Academy, wedding dresses, makeup equipment and various attractive gifts from sponsors.

The national level competition event initiated by Makeup Artist Indonesia, Arman Armano, who is also the founder of Arman Armano Academy and owner of Arman Armano Cosmetics, has become a creative battle for Indonesian artist makeup because to be able to perform and be on the grand final stage of AAMA in Jakarta is the dream of all Indonesian MUA.

In addition to increasing awareness, many things will be obtained by the participants in participating in AAMA's class of makeup competitions. Among them are mental training and self-testing, building networking between fellow MUA from various cities in Indonesia, increasing branding as MUA, creating popularity, and of course various benefits that will be obtained by all finalists.

AAMA 2024 also collaborates with Indonesian MUA masters as its jury. Among them are Anpa suha, Bubah Alfian, Bennu Sorumba, Dewi Tian, Badminton Hariman and Olis Herawati. The success of the 2023 AAMA makeup competition cannot be separated from the role of sponsors and supporters who have contributed to the success of AAMA 2023.
