Filming Ancika 1995 During Fasting, Zee JKT48 Fell Sick Until Infusion

JAKARTA - Azizi Asadel is one of the members of the idol group JKT48 who was chosen to play the figure of Ancika in the 1995 film Ancika which is a sequel to the Film Dilan 1990 and 1991. This film itself is directed by the production house MD Pictures and Six Nine Productions.

In a press conference, Budi Ismanto, Film Producer Ancika 1995, recounted that during the shooting process, Azizi Asadel alias Zee had fallen ill but still forced himself to continue filming.

"So there is an interesting experience of him during the fasting month, yes, I just said rest. Because he wants to dedicate his best to playing even though he is sick and his acting is extraordinary, it can't be seen that he is sick," said Budi Ismanto at Grand Indonesia, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, November 22.

This was confirmed by Zee who admitted that he had lost weight for the sake of his character as Ancika during the fasting month. This ultimately triggers the recurrence of Zee stomach acid.

"Actually, for Ancika, I gained a little weight, and it was fasting. I wanted to eat in the middle of fasting and filming which was quite tiring, so I got stomach acid. But I was safe when filming, I just entered the hospital when I finished filming," continued Zee.

The owner's real name, Azizi Shafaa Asadel, had to be infused with vitamins before continuing filming to continue his role.

"It was only at that time that the condition was quite severe until I lacked fluids, then at that time before filming I was infused with vitamins and continued filming," he explained.
