JAKARTA - As a form of appreciation and encouraging the collaboration of innovation, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek), through the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (Dirjen Dikti Ristek) and Kedaireka, held the 2023 Independence Innovation Summit (MIS) which is a manifestation of the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045.

This event will take place on November 16-17, 2023 at the Bidakara Hotel Indonesia, Jakarta. Plt. Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology at the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Nizam hopes that this event will not only be a vehicle for collaboration in innovation at the national level, but also open up opportunities for innovation collaboration internationally.

Merdeka Innovation Summit 2023 is a tangible embodiment in welcoming the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045, which focuses on improving human development, implementing science and technology, sustainable economic growth, as well as justice in development and increasing national resilience and governance.

The Chief Executive of MIS 2023, Achmad Adhitya added, Merdeka Innovation Summit plays a platform to highlight the crucial role played by every stakeholder in encouraging innovation and creating solutions. The main theme of the event, "Knowledge-Powered Economic Resilience through Innovation," reflects Indonesia's collective spirit in realizing the big vision. The main goal of this commitment is to encourage the collaboration of revolutionary innovations, therefore we also present the best innovation experts abroad," said Adhitya in a media statement received Friday, November 10.

This event will present policy makers, academics, industrial representatives, and innovators from various backgrounds. The sources on the first day included Lead Scientist for Process Development of Oxford AstraZeneca COVID-19 Carina Joe, Director of CSIRO Southeast Asia Amelia Fyfield, Managing Director of Google Indonesia Randy Jusuf, IPB University Rector Arif Satria and Senior Science and Technology Policy Fellow, Cabinet Office, Government of Japan Yasuko Kasai.

Then on the second day, among others, Chief Solution Architect for Nvidia AI Technology Center Simon See, Director of Business Development YG Entertainment & Executive Director, Encast Co. Ltd Charlie Cho and Founder of RM Synergy Riri Muktamar.
