Reaping Criticism, Kylie Jenner Removes Posts Support Israel

JAKARTA - Kylie Jenner deleted her latest post after receiving criticism from the public. The post contained support for Israel after the continuing conflict with Palestine.

On Sunday, October 9, a series of Hollywood celebrities re-shared a post from a pro-Israel account containing the Israeli flag and it read, "Now and always, we are with the Israeli people."

Kylie Jenner also shared the upload through her Instagram account. However, the Instagram Story only lasted an hour because she had deleted it.

This allegedly happened after Kylie Jenner's account was enlivened with comments containing criticism of Kylie Jenner. The account with 399 million followers immediately stormed Kylie's last upload.

Some netizens commented on some of Kylie's posts by adding Palestinian flag emojis. Others wrote comments and advised Kylie to find out the conflict between Israel and Palestine.

"You won't read this but: educate yourself before showing public support. There is a long history there," wrote one netizen.

"Shocking. Please find out first before uploading anything," wrote another netizen.

"Don't get involved with politics and say you support Israel. Palestine has been fighting for years," said another netizen.

Posts of support for Israel began to resonate after Hamas attacked Israel on Saturday, October 7th. This attack caused casualties in Israel to reach 700 people and continued until Sunday evening.

Apart from Kylie Jenner, a number of Hollywood celebrities expressed support for Israel, some of whom Amy Schumer, Gal Gadot, and Sarah Hyland.
