Enthusiasm Of The Big Sherina 2 Adventure Film, Sherina Is Surprised And At The Same Time Grateful

JAKARTA - Sherina and Sadam are back on an adventure through the film Adventure of Sherina 2. The film directed by Riri Riza brings together Sherina Munaf and Derby Romero again with a new story 23 years later.

This project has been planned for three years, but it had to be delayed due to the pandemic starting at that time.

"Just to shoot, we are grateful because we can, we got a hug, we are very happy because it happened again and it will be aired soon," said Sherina Munaf when met by VOI at Miles Films' office today, Monday, September 4.

With a long time from the first film, Sherina and the other players admitted that they were both surprised and grateful. They can feel the enthusiasm of the audience for the presence of this second film.

"What is certain is that I am very happy. I still feel surprised but more like wow, that's how much people wait," said Sherina.

"If we meet people, there are those who say can't wait. Every day there are those who talk about it and I've never felt people waiting for a film like that," he continued.

Realizing that the first film was very popular, Sherina, Derby Romero, and Ardit Erwandha agreed that this would present their best.

"We were surprised because there was a reaction from people who were moved to tears. Suddenly maybe when we watched Sherina 2's Adventure, it felt like a machine from time to time. Inner's child was shaking," concluded Ardit Erwandha.

"When we filmed Remembering Bintang, it was something we also felt, like being pulled to 23 years ago," added Derby Romero.

Sherina's adventure is not only ours, but also for those who watch. Don't want to be rushed, don't want to be locked down. We will maximize it there. Hopefully those who watch like it because I can't wait," said Sherina.

Sherina 2's Adventure Film tells of Sherina (Sherina Munaf) who meets Sadam (Derby Romero) again when they grow up. 23 years have passed, it turns out that they were met in a situation that brought them back together.

Sherina 2's Adventure Film will hit Indonesian cinemas starting September 28, 2023.
