Entering The Age Of 40, Ruben Onsu Reduces Work For The Sake Of Family

JAKARTA - Entering the age of 40, Ruben Onsu wants to change his lifestyle. If so far he spends more time working, he wants to set aside more time for the children.

Meanwhile, his decision to reduce working time was taken after receiving complaints from his children.

"Now I'm not shooting until the night. Because all the children have complained. That's why I take more live shopping," Ruben Onsu told the media crew in Tendean, South Jakarta on Tuesday, August 25.

Ruben said that his children often wait for his return if he works late at night. He did not want the work of his parents, his son's lifestyle, which had to wake up early for school, to be disrupted.

"The kids finally have a lot of time with us. If I haven't gone home, he doesn't want to sleep. It makes me feel like 'I can't, I have to go home at this time'," said Ruben.

"You know the kids, if they sleep late, they will definitely wake up early in the drama, there's just a reason. So it has to be from me, they come home on time, so they have good sleep," he continued.

By reducing working time, Ruben also intends to help Sarwendah to take care of household matters. He wants to see his wife also have free time to relax.

"What's sorry is actually my wife, Monday to Friday she is non-stop (personage the house), right, I'm just on weekends. At least it can help my wife to relax more on weekends," said Ruben.

At this age, Ruben does not deny that he still has achievements that he wants to pursue in terms of work. However, he wants to prioritize his current time for children.

"Humans are endless, I think," said Ruben Onsu about the achievements he wanted to achieve.

"But if I'm more into time with my children, because they're really critical, keep pushing. I don't want to do whatever they want, I can't make it happen," he said.
