V BTS Prepares Solo Album With NewJeans CEO Assistance

JAKARTA - V will be the next BTS member to have a solo music project. BIGHIT MUSIC as an agency confirmed the news circulating since today, Wednesday, August 2.

Previously, V reportedly prepared a solo album assisted by CEO Min Hee Jin, the figure behind the creation of NewJeans. This information was also confirmed by BIGHIT which explained that later Min Hee Jin would be involved in terms of music, choreography, design, and promotion.

"I got this offer at the end of last year. At first I doubted because of the schedule, but I was interested in the attitude and passion V so with his voice that I wasn't familiar with," said Min Hee Jin quoting SPOTV.

"This time I want to focus on the music. We are preparing music that reflects my taste V as well as music that I want to recommend. Instead of showing something that is familiar, we put our focus on the music we want to make," he continued.

The man whose real name is Kim Tae Hyung also expressed his enthusiasm because he got the opportunity to show the other side.

I'm nervous but happy. This is an album that captures my preferences. There are many aspects in it," V said.

"I prepared this while thinking ARMY would be happy, so I hope you can look forward to this. I think you can see the other side V which is different from V BTS," concluded V.

BIGHIT MUSIC has not announced when the solo album V will be released, but this album has been a continuation of the BTS member solo project since they discussed the vacuum period in 2022.

Starting from Jin, the BTS member solo project continued until Jung Kook, who had just released the single Seven with Latto. Now, there is only V who will show his capability as a soloist.

Even so, on several occasions, V once released a solo song under the name BTS through various songs such as Stigma, Singularity, Inner Child, 4 OCLOCK, SCeries. He also released the songs Winter Bear, Blue & Gray, Snow Flower and others.

He also fills the soundtrack of Itaewon Class and Our Beloved Summer with his solo songs. On the other hand this year V greets fans as one of Jinny's Kitchen variety members.
