Find New Challenges, Lulu Tobing Plays Horror Films

JAKARTA - Lulu Luciana Tobing, better known as Lulu Tobing, will play in the latest horror film entitled Guna-Guna Young Wife. He will be shooting with other actors on July 20.

Lulu Tobing admitted that she had rejected the offer to play the main character in the film Guna-Guna, Young Wife. He felt that he did not fit into the horror genre that was carried out in this film.

At first I gave up this role. Because this is a genre that I avoid. Incidentally, I am not a horror movie audience and do not like horror films," said Lulu Tobing during a press conference in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta on Thursday, July 13.

However, after several discussions with producer Frederica and director Robby Ertanto, Lulu was finally willing to join the ranks of players. He said the production team from Falcon Pictures encouraged him to get out of his comfort zone.

"Then I was pushed by Falcon to get out of my comfort zone. Finally, I accepted to play in this film," said Lulu Tobing.

The actress who started her career in the 1992 COVER Girl selection also felt that the film Guna-Guna Young Wife promised an elegant and sophisticated storyline. This difference is also one of the reasons Lulu Tobing played.

Lulu Tobing also stated that she was quite selective in accepting the offer of acting. He would be involved if the film offered something different.

"I was told that this film will be made elegantly and sophisticated. That's why I am very confident to be involved in this film. I also want to do new things because with such lure," he said.

After going through the reading and workshop process, Lulu Tobing said she was satisfied with her choice. He felt a new experience when he was in the process of the film Guna-Guna Young Wife.

"The process has just arrived here, but I have had a new experience and new excitement," concluded Lulu Tobing.
