IAPVC 2023 Increases Public Concern For Animal Preservation

JAKARTA - In order to increase awareness of the preservation of animals in Indonesia, the Indonesian Safari Park (TSI) has again held the 2023 International Animal Photo & Video Competition (IAPVC). This year is the 32nd implementation. Hans Manansang as the TSI representative said that this year's IAPVC has a similar mission to previous years, namely preserving animal stories that are currently threatened with extinction through photography. This is a commitment to continue to encourage animal education, including its conservation efforts in Indonesia. We believe anyone can make a positive contribution to the future and sustainability of endemic animals in Indonesia, even the world,” said Hans Manansang, Tuesday, July 4. Hans hopes that the IAPVC can generate love for the animal world, as well as increase efforts to preserve and protect these animals from extinction With the holding of competitions every year, it is hoped that it can create positive momentum in an effort to answer the increasingly urgent challenges of animal conservation and require the involvement of all parties as part of the solution. Hans also sees the very positive organization of this competition. With tens of thousands of works collected every year, he sees the high public concern for animal sustainability.

“ We are very pleased to see the extraordinary enthusiasm from the public for the IAPVC. We have collected nearly tens of thousands of works every year. This reflects their high concern for the preservation of our animals. This spirit is what we continue to instill in the upcoming IAPVC,” he said. With the theme “Story of the Wild, Capture Through Your Lens”, IAPVC 2023 is an open competition for all to participate in, from professional photographers, media, communities, and the general public. The competition runs from June 28 to September 16. The winners will be announced at the end of October.
