The First Time Trying Thriller Genre, Febby Rastanty Learned From Saw The Movie

JAKARTA - Febby Rastanty will appear in the film Cherish & Ruelle which will be shown on KlikFilm. Together with Cut Beby Tsabina and Pangeran Lantang, the 27-year-old actress was lined up to play the main character Ruelle.

The graduate of the University of Indonesia's Faculty of Law was enthusiastic about her appearance at Cherish & Ruelle. For her, the thriller genre shown is something new in her acting career.

“When it comes to anything new, I happen to be trying the thriller genre for the first time. So that's something new," said Febby Rastanty during a press conference at the Falcon Pictures office, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, 8 February 2023.

Febby realizes that her role as Ruelle is not easy. With a short preparation, she communicated a lot with director Azhar Kinoi Lubis and other players, especially with Cut Beby Tsabina who played Cherish.

"Baby and I are really good friends, so we talk a lot and have a lot of interaction. I'm also looking for references from other films of more or less the same genre," she said.

To maximize her acting, Febby watched the famous thriller from the United States, Saw. From the film, the actress learns how to feel fear on different levels.

Febby Rastanti herself describes Ruelle's character as ignorant and brave. Although ignorant, Ruelle is a loyal friend, especially for Cherish.

"Ruelle is a loyal friend, she really loves Cherish and she is a person who wants to do anything to help her friend who is in trouble," she concluded. The film Cherish & Ruelle will premiere and can be watched at KlikFilm on February 10, 2023 tomorrow.
