Curated Performance By Children Of The Nation, Pasar Musik Festival To Be Held February 10-12

JAKARTA - The Pasar Musik Festival is scheduled to be held as a venue for the creations of local musicians and artists at Gambir Expo, Jakarta, from 10 to 12 February 2023.

"Pasar Musik is a stage for curating the work of the nation's children with the mission of presenting music, art, and culture to the public," said Pasar Musik Festival Head of Marketing, Jilan Izdihar as quoted from Antara, Tuesday.

Previously, the Pasar Musik Festival was established in June 2022, to coincide with the Pentas Pasar Musik at Bengkel Space.

"The reason for establishing Pasar Musik Festival is because it wants to combine the daily needs of residents, namely markets and music. The founders were CEO Nugraha Artha and Project Director Hasyim Arief," said Jilan.

He also explained that normal ticket prices for three-day activities are priced at IDR 700,000. Before the peak activity in February, there will be three pre-event performances.

"Pentas Pasar Musik will be held at Bengkel Space, in June 2022. Then, Pasar Kaget Volume 1 at Zoo Café, September 2022. Pasar Kaget Volume 2 at UMM Malang Dome, October 2022," he said.

However, according to him, due to a force majeure event, namely the Kanjuruhan Malang Tragedy in October 2022, the Pasar Kaget Volume 3 was moved to Plaza park Timur Senayan, in November 2022.

The philosophy of Pasar Musik Festival is to gather citizens to experience at the same time, namely their daily needs such as markets and music.

Pasar Musik Festival will feature a line-up of well-known musicians namely Dewa 19 Featuring Virzha, Arsy Widiyanto, Kahitna, Yovie and Nuno, Dewi Perssik, Fiersa Bersari, Gigi, Kangen Band, Nadin Amizah, Kunto Aji, Last Child, Letto, Jamrud, Maliq & D'Essentials and Marcel Siahaan.

In addition, Padi Reborn, Rizky Febian, Rocket Rockers, The Changcuters, Tiara Andini, Type-X, Vierratale, Seringai, Shaggy Dog, Pee Wee Gaskins, and a number of other artists.
