Aaron Carter's Fiancé Melanie Martin Tries Her Best To Raise A Child Alone

JAKARTA - Aaron Carter was found dead at his home in Lancaster, California on Saturday, November 5 local time. However, there are no reports regarding the cause of death.

His death brought grief to his fiancé, Melanie Martin. Carter has one son named Prince by his ex-fiancé Melanie Martin. She admitted that she really lost her lover, but had to stay strong for their child.

"My fiancé Aaron Carter has passed away. I love Aaron with all my heart and it will be a solo journey to raise our son without a father. Please respect my family's privacy as we have to accept the loss of someone we love. We are still in the process to accept this unfortunate reality. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated," Melanie said as quoted from TMZ, Monday, November 7th.

A Los Angeles Police Department spokesman told THR that the suspicious death occurred at Carter's residential address, but could not confirm the identity of the person who died.

Born in Tampa, Florida, on December 7, 1987, Carter made his debut in the music industry when opening the Backstreet Boys tour in 1997. His debut album, Aaron Carter, was released at the end of the same year when he was just 9 years old. The album also achieved gold status.

His next album, Aaron's Party (Come and Get It), was released in September 2000 and went triple-platinum. The album featured the singles "I Want Candy," "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)" and "That's How I Beat Shaq" which was followed up by promotion of the album as the opening act for the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears on the Oops!… I Did It Again tour.

Aaron Carter has also dabbled in acting, appearing in shows such as Lizzie McGuire, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and 7th Heaven and in films such as Fat Albert (2004) and Supercross (2005) starring Channing Tatum.
