Lippo Karawaci Subsidiary Owned By Conglomerate Michtar Riady Distributes IDR 359 Billion Annexing 40.85 Million Shares Of Siloam Hospitals

JAKARTA - PT Megapratama Karya Persada, which is a subsidiary of PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) owned by conglomerate Mochtar Riady, bought 40.851.400 or 40.85 million shares of PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk (SILO).

In a report on the information disclosure page of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), quoted on Monday, April 11, transactions were carried out with a price range of IDR 7.875-8.800 per share. With an estimated purchase at the maximum price, Megapratama Karya Persada spent IDR 359.49 billion.

The management of Megapratama Karya Persada said that the transaction was carried out between March 31, 2022, and April 5 - 6 2022.

"Transactions with the aim of increasing investment in subsidiaries with direct share ownership status," explained the management.

Following the transaction, Megapratama Karya Persada's shares in SILO rose to 803.04 million shares, or 49.4 percent. An increase of 2.54 percent from the previous 761.77 million shares approximately 46.86 percent.

As of March 31, 2022, SILO's shareholders other than Megapratama Karya, namely Prime Health 425.69 million shares or 26 percent, the public 430.95 million shares aka 26.46 percent, and treasury shares of 7.22 million shares equivalent to 0.44 percent.
