For The First Time, Four Regional Banks Received FLPP BP Tapera Funds IDR 57.69 Billion To Finance 527 Subsidized Housing Units

JAKARTA - The People's Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) has begun distributing funds for the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP). Prime, the value is IDR 57.69 billion or the equivalent for 527 subsidized housing units.

"This amount is 0.26 percent of the specified distribution target. The distribution of this initial FLPP fund is through Bank BTN Syariah, Jambi Syariah Village Consultative Body (BPD), Sumselbabel BPD, and Nagari BPD," said Commissioner of BP Tapera Adi Setianto in a written statement quoted by Antara, Friday, February 25.

In the distribution of FLPP funds, Adi Setianto reminded Channeling Banks to pay attention to the provisions for submitting disbursement, namely the fulfillment of the administration of the Prosperous KPR Verification Statement and the fulfillment of the Prosperous House ownership credit (KPR) provisions.

BP Tapera asks the Channeling Bank to ensure the correctness of the Statement Letter made by the Technical Reviewer, Construction Supervisor, or Construction Management regarding the proper functioning of the house building.

"This is in accordance with the attachment to the Cooperation Agreement file that was agreed between BP Tapera and the Channeling Bank in the 2022 FLPP Distribution Cooperation Agreement which was signed late last year," said Adi Setianto.

The growing public interest in the FLPP program can be seen from the data on submissions for FLPP disbursement at BP Tapera which on February 23, 2022 has reached 9.013 FLPP Prosperous KPR housing units worth IDR 994.3 billion. It was recorded that from 2010 to 23 February 2022, there were 944.106 housing units worth IDR 75.23 trillion.

The government has granted a permit for the distribution of FLPP housing finance assistance funds in 2022 based on a letter issued by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia through the Director General of Treasury as the Chair of the Government Investment Committee on February 17, 2022.

In accordance with the contents of the letter, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia approved the proposed distribution of FLPP by BP Tapera of 200.000 thousand units to Low-Income Communities (MBR) with a 2022 DIPA Fund allocation of IDR 19.1 trillion with the mechanism and amount of disbursement adjusted to the performance of distribution and the time schedule that has been prepared.

As we all know, BP Tapera has been appointed as a Government Investment Operator (OIP) since 22 December 2021 to manage FLPP funds. The Commissioner of BP Tapera, Adi Setianto, said that BP Tapera in managing the investment funds will ensure that the distribution of FLPP is carried out in accordance with good governance, adequate risk management, and effective monitoring and evaluation of performance.

In distributing FLPP funds, BP Tapera in 2022 cooperates with 39 Channeling Banks consisting of 8 National Banks and 31 Regional Development Banks, both Conventional and Sharia.
