Liga 1 2023/2024 Results: Barito Putera Makes Persebaya More Meruna, PSIS Rolls Persita 4-0

JAKARTA - Two matches for the 19th week of Liga 1 2023/2024 were completed Thursday, November 9 afternoon at 15.00 WIB. From this match, Barito Putera succeeded in making Persebaya Surabaya even more stunned, while PSIS Semarang won big over Persita Tangerang.

The Barito Putera vs Persebaya Surabaya match was held at the Demang Lehman Stadium. Barito, who was the host, took the lead through Mike Ott's goal in the 33rd minute and lasted until halftime.

The game rained quite heavily when the match continued into the second half. With a difficult situation Barito was able to double the number again to 2-0 through the execution of Renan Alves in the 80th minute.

Barito Putera continued to maintain two points without being able to break Persebaya Surabaya until the long whistle sounded. Barito's 2-0 victory at home made Persebaya even more embarrassed.

The hosts rose to seventh place with 28 points from 19 matches. Meanwhile, Persebaya Surabaya is still stuck in 12th position with 22 points.

In another match, there was PSIS Semarang vs Persita Tangerang which was held at the Jatidiri Stadium. PSIS as the host went crazy at home to the Cisadane Warriors.

The moment was illustrated when PSIS Semarang took the lead 2-0 in the first half through goals scored by Tri Setiawan in the 26th minute and Lucao in the 40th minute, respectively.

Tri Setiawan then added a PSIS goal in the 59th minute. Fredyan Wahyu contributed through a free kick goal in the 88th minute. The match was completed with a score of four 4-0 without reply for PSIS' victory.

From today's results, PSIS Semarang rose to third place with 34 points from 19 matches where the difference was four points from Madura United at the top of the League 1 standings. Meanwhile, Persita Tangerang still has not moved from 15th place with 19 points.
