The U-24 Indonesian National Team Too Lost Ramadan Sananta And Did Not Have Different Players

JAKARTA - The defeat of the U-24 Indonesian national team to Taiwan in the third match of the 2023 Asian Games group phase was influenced by the absence of players such as Ramadhan Sananta. This was revealed by football observer, Kesit Handoyo.

The man who is familiarly called Bung Kesit admitted that the absence of Sananta from the U-24 national team squad at the 2023 Asian Games was quite influential. He also mentioned the composition of the team which was not very classy.

"Yes (the momentum of Ramadan Sananta) has an effect," said Kesit Handoyo when contacted by Voi.id Thursday, September 21 evening WIB.

"This means that this team (the composition) is different from yesterday's passing Indonesia to the U-23 Asian Cup, although there are five players like Rizki Ridho, Ernando Ari in the goalkeeper position, there is Titan Agung with Robi Darwis but not the same," he continued.

In the match which took place at Zhejiang Normal University East Stadium, Jinhua, Thursday, September 21, the U-24 Indonesian national team played under the best performance against Taiwan. Finally, the Indra Sjafri fleet lost 0-1 to Taiwan through Chin Wen Yen's single goal.

Bung Kesit acknowledged the defeat in that match because Garuda Muda did not process creativity in the field. This was also acknowledged because of the absence of players who could be differentiators.

"But we don't have players who model like Marselino Ferdinand or Ivar Jenner who can be different in the team. That's unfortunate," he explained.

Regarding the absence of Ramadan Sananta, Marselino Ferdinand and Ivar Jenner at the 2023 Asian Games because their home club did not give permission for reasons that this agenda was not the official FIFA agenda. This point is unfortunate for Kesit Handoyo.

"We have lost the figure of Marselino, Sananta or Ivar because they are not included in the 2023 Asian Games squad. Because it is not the FIFA agenda, not in the FIFA calendar so they are not allowed by the club to appear," said Kesit.
