After the signing was completed, the Minister of Youth and Sports explained in detail the amount of funds disbursed by the government for the National Training Center and preparations for the 2023 U-17 World Cup. This moment was also recognized by the Menpora as a tangible form of the government's presence in advancing the world of sports in the country.

"We have just signed a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and PSSI, which also indicates the government's presence in supporting the success of organizing world events, the U-17 World Cup and the preparation of the U-17 national team in the National Training Center," said Menpora Dito Ariotedjo during his remarks.

"This has also been signed in cooperation with government assistance amounting to Rp399 billion 500 million. Earlier, we have conveyed this to Erick Thohir and his staff, this is a big number and we must prioritize transparency and accountability that must be maintained together," he continued.

Menpora hopes that the assistance provided by the government will be able to contribute to the success of the U-17 World Cup. So that in the future this moment can foster international confidence in holding other world-class events.

Hopefully this will be the birth of the momentum of our young athletes in the future to enter the world arena," said the Menpora.

PSSI chairman Erick Thohir really appreciates the government's move through this assistance. In the future, Erick Thohir also hopes that collaboration between the government and sports leaders can continue to exist in order to attend other world-class events in Indonesia.

That's why I really appreciate the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the leadership of Mr. Dito, President Jokowi and Vice President (Ma'ruf Amin) who encouraged the event to go well," he continued.
