League 1 Results: Marc Klok's Goal Brings Persib Bandung To Take Second Place Again From Persija Jakarta

JAKARTA – Persib Bandung successfully secured three points against Arema FC in the continuation of the 2022/2023 Indonesia League 1 competition.

The two teams met in a match at the Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Bogor, West Java, Thursday, 23 February 2023. Persib also won through Marc Klok's single goal in the 66th minute.

The 29-year-old Dutch-born player scored the only winning goal with a long-range shot that headed toward the far post, which Teguh Amiruddin failed to clear.

This is the 16th win Persib has won out of 25 matches played this season. Meanwhile, in nine other matches, they drew four times and lost five times.

Adding three points made the team nicknamed Maung Bandung rise again to second place. Previously, this position was taken over by Persija Jakarta who won over Barito Putera yesterday.

Persib has now collected 52 points or is two points ahead of Persija, which has dropped to second place, and is only one point behind PSM Makassar, which is in first place.

Persik Kediri won a convincing victory when they hosted RANS Nusantara FC at the Brawijaya Stadium. In front of their own supporters, the host beat its guest with a landslide score of 5-1.

The two teams currently occupy two positions in the standings. Persik is in 19th place with 20 points, trailing RANS at the bottom with 17 points.
