JAKARTA - Real Madrid has not stopped its pace in the Spanish La Liga. Most recently, Los Blancos silenced Atletico Madrid.

In the match held at the Wanda Metropolitano, Real Madrid won by a narrow score of 2-1.

Two Real Madrid goals were scored by Rodriygo (18th minute) and Federico Valverde (36). While Atletico's goal was presented by Mario Hermoso in the 83rd minute.

This victory makes Real Madrid at the top of the standings with 18 points. That's the result of six wins in six matches played.

In other matches, Real Betis continued to stick to the top of La Liga after a 2-1 win over Girona.

Currently, Manuel Pellegrini's club is in third place with 15 points. They are only two points adrift of Barcelona who are in third position.
