Ryan Giggs Tried For Abuse Case, Accused Of Throwing Ex-Girlfriend Out Of Hotel Nude

JAKARTA — Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs is on trial for the abuse of his girlfriend Kate Greville. In court, he was charged with a series of violence including headbutting an ex-lover.

The former Wales national team coach underwent a Minshull Street Crown Court hearing on Monday, August 8 yesterday. He also denied all the accusations read by prosecutor Peter Wright.

"He is, you may know, a former professional footballer with quite a reputation. In his prime he played for Manchester United and internationally with the Wales national team", Wright said.

"He is idolized and that is still the case by fans and supporters who adore him. On the pitch his skills abound and are a beautiful thing", the prosecution continued.

"Off the pitch in the privacy of his private life, at home, behind closed doors, we say, the facts of this case reveal an even uglier and more sinister side of his character", the prosecution added.

Giggs reportedly beat Kate when she tried to end their toxic relationship. He attacked his ex-girlfriend while her ex-girlfriend was packing her bag.

In addition, Giggs is also accused of kicking Kate in the back and throwing her out of the hotel suite naked. Giggs gets angry after Kate accuses him of flirting with other women.

The next allegation is that Giggs reportedly tried to blackmail Kate by threatening to send intimate photos to friends and coworkers.

Later, in their brawl at Giggs' home in Worsley, Gtr Manchester, Giggs was also accused of hurting Kate's sister Emma. It happened when Emma tried to break up their fight.

Giggs controlled Kate between December 2017 and November 2020. During that period, Kate is said to have faced "an endless cycle of emotional and physical abuse".
