Erik Ten Hag Says Manchester United Is Ready To Face The Premier League 2022/2023

JAKARTA - Manchester United has undergone a series of pre-season matches in preparation for the 2022/2023 Premier League. The result, is fairly good for the manager, Erik ten Hag.

Of the six matches, Manchester United won three, drew two and lost one. The record, the failure to win won in the last three games.

After beating Liverpool (4-0), Melbourne Victory (4-1) and Crystal Palace (3-1), Manchester United then drew with Aston Villa (2-2), lost to Atletico Madrid (0-1) and was held back. Rayo Vallecano (1-1) at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag said he was happy with the overall pre-season result. According to him, Harry Maguire and his friends have undergone good preparations.

"We are making good progress. We are ready for this season, but I know there is still room for improvement," said Ten Hag, as quoted from Antara.

The Dutchman said this is a team of young and experienced players. Some of the players even met for the first time. For that, he asked all parties to understand that this team is not yet fully perfect.

"You see the attitude of the players is very good, they are fighting and working for each other and that's positive."

"We created a lot of chances. Okay, we also conceded, but I think we have to be satisfied with their performance," continued the former Ajax Amsterdam boss.

In the inaugural match of the Premier League 2022/2023, Manchester United will face Brighton and Hove Albion. The Red Devils will host their opponents at Old Trafford on Sunday, August 7.
