JAKARTA - The Indonesian contingent has added another gold medal collection at the 2021 SEA Games on Tuesday, May 17. The Red and White Team's 24th gold medal was won from the shooting sport.

An additional Indonesian gold medal was donated by shooting athlete Fathur Gustafian. He won gold after being the best in the 10-meter air rifle.

Fathur Gustafian managed to come out as the winner after recording a score of 247.4. The silver medal was won by an athlete from Singapore, Lionel Wong Zen Joi who recorded a score of 246.5.

While the bronze medal was won by another Indonesian shooting athlete, Paragra Duncan Taruma Negara. He recorded a score of 226.2.

Unfortunately, two other Indonesian athletes, namely Wira Sukmana and Deny Pratama, failed to donate medals in the men's 50m pistol event.

With this result, Indonesia is ranked fourth with a collection of 91 medals. The breakdown is 24 gold, 36 silver, and 31 bronze.

The Red and White Team overtook Singapore, which is now in fifth place with a total of 80 medals consisting of 24 gold, 26 silver, and 30 bronze.
