Ashley Cole Tied Up By Robber Threatening To Cut Her Finger With Pliers

JAKARTA - The trial of the house robbery case of former England footballer Ashley Cole was held recently. The incident occurred on January 21, 2020.

During the trial, the jury was told that Cole's hands were tied behind his back by six masked mobs wearing camouflage gear. They asked the 40-year-old man to hand over jewelry and watches.

One of the robbers repeatedly asked to cut Cole's finger with pliers but was prevented by his accomplices, the jury at Nottingham Crown Court heard.

Another person was allegedly armed with a sledgehammer.

Cole's hands are then doused with Febreze deodorizer in an attempt by the robbers to destroy DNA evidence before the gang flees his Surrey home when the police arrive. Five designer watches and two cell phones are missing.

According to the court, Cole's girlfriend and Italian model Sharon Canu called 999 when she and Cole realized they had been robbed. At that time, the couple was watching a movie at 9:30 p.m.

Before police arrived, prosecutors said the couple and their two children were subjected to "violent and cruel executions". Cole is said to be wearing only shorts, tied with cables, and forced to kneel in front of his family.

One of the suspected robbers - Kurtis Dilks, from Nottingham - denies the robbery.

The 33-year-old also denies a conspiracy to rob Hull City footballer Tom Huddlestone's home while he was away and his house was empty.

The trial is still ongoing.
