Proliga 2022 After, PBVSI Summons 14 Men's Volleyball Players For The 2021 SEA Games Pelatnas

JAKARTA - The 2022 Pro League event has ended. Bandung BJB Tandamata and Bogor LavAni came out as champions for the women's and men's categories.

After the 2022 Proliga ends, now the focus of the All-Indonesian Volleyball Association (PBVSI) is focused on preparing for the 2021 SEA Games. Coaches and athletes have begun to be called in to prepare for the event which will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam.

PBVSI has summoned 14 male volleyball players to take part in the national training camp (Pelatnas) at the Kunarto Police General Padepokan, Sentul, Bogor. The training is scheduled to start on April 1.

Most of the players who were called up were pillars of the Indonesian national team when they won the gold medal at the 2019 SEA Games. There are also some new faces.

For the position of coach, PBVSI appointed Jiang Jie. This Chinese coach was named the best coach after successfully bringing the debutant team, Bogor LavAni, to the 2022 Proliga champion.

He will be accompanied by Sigit Ari Widodo who is in charge of the 2022 Proliga runner-up team, Surabaya Bhayangkara Samator. There are also the names Indra Wahyudi, Roy Nanlohy, and Robby Sudrajat in the composition of the coaching team.
