All England 2022 Draw Results: Fajar/Rian Clash With Leo/Daniel In The First Round

JAKARTA – The results of the All England 2022 draw have been officially released by the organizers. In the first round, four Indonesian representatives directly faced each other.

The world's oldest badminton championship will be held at the Arena Birmingham, England, on March 16-20. Indonesia took part in the championship after last year was issued by the committee.

The Indonesian pairs that directly faced each other were Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto against their juniors Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin.

So far, the pair have faced each other twice. Of the number of clashes, they divide each one victory.

In addition, at the same number, clashes between Indonesians were also presented between Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana vs. Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Rambitan.

Meanwhile, the first seeded Indonesian men's doubles Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo will be challenged by Korean representatives. The Minions will try to get away from the first round against Choi Solgyu/Seo Seung Jae.

In the women's doubles number, Indonesia only sent one representative, namely Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu. The Tokyo 2020 Olympic gold medalist will face Denmark's Maiken Fruergaard/Sara Thygesen.

The singles representative is also in the women's doubles number. In this number, only Gregoria Mariska Tunjung was dispatched.

As for Anthony Ginting, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito, and Jonatan Christie will be representatives in the men's singles sector.

In the mixed doubles, Indonesia will be represented by Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Widjaja, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Mentari, Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva, and Adnan Maulana/Mychelle Bandaso.
