JAKARTA - Napoli must be willing to share points with Cagliari after a 1-1 draw in matchday 26 of the Italian League at the Sardegna Arena, Tuesday morning.

As reported by Antara, Cagiliari opened the scoring first through Gaston Pereiro's goal before Victor Osimhen equalized for Napoli.

The draw made Napoli remain in third place in the standings with 54 points. While Cagliari has not moved from the relegation zone. They are ranked 18th with 22 points from 26 matches.

Starting the match, the two teams traded attacks each other. However, Cagliari is still superior in possession of the ball.

Napoli struggled to create chances because the Cagliari players played disciplined so it was difficult for their defense to penetrate.

During the first half, neither team scored any goals. Although they each made four attempts to the opponent's goal.

Starting the second half, Cagliari played more aggressively in launching attacks. They are quicker to put pressure on the Napoli defense.

Their efforts finally yielded positive results on 58 minutes. Gaston Pereiro fired from outside the penalty box and the ball was not driven away by Napoli goalkeeper David Ospina. The score became 1-0.

In the remaining time, Napoli tried their best to score an equalizer. In the 87th minute, they managed to do it through Osimhen's goal.

Mario released a pass to Osimhen who found space in the penalty box. He let go of a header and made it difficult for Cagliari goalkeeper Alessio Cragno to block it.
