JAKARTA - The Israeli military claimed there was a command center and control of the militant group Hamas, when their airstrikes hit hospitals in Gaza and killed Palestinians.
At least seven Palestinians were killed and others injured, some of whom were critical, as a result of Israeli airstrikes targeting Al-Wafa Hospital in Gaza on Sunday, quoted from WAFA December 30.
Overall, a total of 13 Palestinians have been reported killed in Israeli airstrikes in various Gaza regions since early this morning.
Meanwhile, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighter jets attacked a group of Hamas members who were in action in a former hospital in Gaza City.
According to the IDF, the operators are part of the Hamas air defense unit at the Shejaiya Battalion.
"The terrorists took action at the command and control center established in a building previously used as an Al-Wafa Hospital in Gaza City, and is currently not an active hospital," the military said, quoted by The Times of Israel.
The IDF said the operators used the command center at the former hospital to plan and carry out attacks on forces acting in Gaza "in the near future."
