Samrat Airport Ready To Face A Surge In Passenger Arrivals During Nataru

MANADO - One of the busiest airports during the Christmas and New Year holidays is Manado's Sam Ratulangi Airport (Samrat), North Sulawesi. To anticipate this moment, PT Angkasa Pura I admitted that it was ready to face a surge in passengers and goods during the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year holidays (Nataru).

"To prepare for Christmas, Samrat Airport is very ready, both personnel and other facilities," said General Manager (GM) of Samrat Maya Damayanti Airport, in Manado, Saturday.

So, he said again, readiness in terms of human resources (HR) and all necessary equipment has been carried out.

Maya said that her party will also form Christmas and New Year's posts, to provide excellent service to all guests and users of Samrat Airport.

He explained that apart from internal personnel of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero), there were also external personnel, namely the North Sulawesi Provincial Transportation Agency, Manado VIII Airport Authority Office, Airnav Indonesia, Manado Air Force, Manado Navy, Airport Area Police, BMKG, KKP, Basarnas, PT Jasindo, Airlines, and ground handling.

With this good coordination, he also said, it is hoped that everything will run smoothly and safely.

"Until now, there has been no additional flight because it is still able to meet the demands of the community," he added, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, November 25.

However, he said again, his party will continue to monitor and coordinate if there is a high spike, there will likely be.
