Semarang Disdik: Prevent Bullying With Fun Learning

SEMARANG - Head of the Semarang City Education Office (Disdik) Bambang Pramusinto revealed that a pleasant learning atmosphere in schools can prevent bullying in students.

Bambang conveyed the importance of organizing fun learning for students, who spend more time studying at school.

"This is the second house. In fact, when children were at home it wasn't longer than at school," he said in Semarang, Thursday, November 23, which was confiscated by Antara.

Therefore, he continued, teachers must be able to create a fun learning atmosphere so that children feel comfortable and not get bored quickly when studying.

"We hope that this school will be the second house so that teachers will also become the second parent for these children," he said.

He also explained about the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which is intended to help educators create quality learning according to the needs and educational environment of students.

"That's why it was created by the Independent Curriculum Learning. Children are not bored, can become smart and smart children in lessons, but also become children with character," he said.

"Don't let it be smart (smart), but don't know the environment...," he said.

He said that teachers should help grow good character to students through the learning process at school.

"How to educate children who are humble (lowly). You can't stay at home, especially at home, your parents are busy. Teachers who can educate are children with character," he said.

Children with good character, he said, should respect friends and have no thoughts of bullying and acts of violence against friends.

"Children who respect their friends do not like bullying, bullying, God willing, they don't have the mind to commit violence. If they don't have the mind for violence, they won't fight," said Bambang.
