Investigate The Kidnapping Of Elementary School Students In South Lampung, Police Urge Schools To Monitor Student Hours To Come Home

LAMPUNG - South Lampung Resort Police (Polres) investigated the attempted kidnapping case experienced by elementary school (SD) students in Palas District.

He also confirmed that the attempted kidnapping took place on Tuesday, November 21 in Sukaraja Village, Palas District.

"So it is true related to the incident, that we have received the report from the victim's parents, we received the report and then from the Sector Police it was also in accordance with the crime scene, for further processing," he said.

For this incident, his party appealed to parents to pay more attention to the safety of their children, as well as to the school to tighten security in the school environment.

To note, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, an attempted kidnapping took place in Sukaraja Village, Palas District.

According to the chronology, the attempted kidnapping took place at around 12.10 WIB. At that time the victim had just returned from school. Then on the way home, the victim was stopped by a red sedan-type car driver.

The perpetrator pretended to ask the victim's address and asked to show the location of SDN 2. The victim was then asked to get into the car.

After arriving at the destination, the perpetrator stepped on the gas and reasoned that he wanted to fill up the vehicle's gasoline first. The victim was taken to the Pasuruan area, Pengamedian District.

Out of fear, the victim rebelled and screamed. The panicked perpetrator stopped his vehicle and tried to strangled the victim's neck. Then the victim continued to rebel and jumped out of the perpetrator's car.
