TANGERANG'Amanah, a resident of the LP Complex, Babakan, Tangerang City, admitted that he had witnessed the unpleasant treatment by RE (38) for his stepson, IR (4).

Amanah, who lives right next to RE's house, said that IR often gets torture from his mother. He said, IR was often hit. Finally, his head was bent on the floor.

Admittedly Amanah, after RE left for work, the victim IR was locked at his house. In fact, continued Amanah, at that time the victim was crying and screaming starving.

"So all I know is that his son is locked up every day in his room, locked and not fed. Then what I know is that he can't go out with his mother," Amanah said when met at his house, Monday, November 20.

"This is what is tortured by his stepson alone. Other biological children are fed and not tortured," he continued.

Worried that something unexpected would happen, Amanah and other residents dismantled the door of the perpetrator's house. The victim was also fed by his neighbor.

After a few hours later, his mother came home from work. The child was tortured again, because we didn't accept that we were feeding his son, "said Amanah.

"Well, that night, the neighbor who was the builder heard him say (the victim) was tortured. This builder was WA (WhatsApp) I was "teh tomorrow morning to see the child, because last night there was an incident of torture," he continued.

The next day, Amanah saw for herself the condition of the victim with something quite sad. His face was battered, his lips burst, his forehead was blue. Even when asked, the victim was like a scared person.

"In the morning I saw that his lips were leaking, his forehead and his body was blue, I asked why, he said, "I was tortured by my mom last night, I was pinched by my mother, kicked by my mother, she was locked on the floor," said Amanah.

Knowing the victim's worrying condition, residents came to RE to ask for clarification on his actions.

The builder also didn't accept it. "Mom, if you want to scold your child, don't be in front of people, that the teteh's child is still a minor. If you want to be tortured, don't be in front of a small child, it's the same as joking. The mother was angry with the handyman, this is not your business," Amanah said imitating the perpetrator's words at the time.

Amanah said that he and other residents had reported to the head of the local RT. And also report to the rented owner.

The report was then followed up with the police. However, at that time the report was rejected because it was considered a complaint. Reports can only be made by members of the victim's family.

"It was reported by the head of the RT and to the Polres. But it was rejected because the offense was a complaint, so it could not be reported by the head of the RT," he said.
