NTB Police Ensure Allegations Of Corruption In The Manggelewa RSP Project In Dompu Are Still Ongoing

Director of the Special Criminal Investigation of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, Kombes Nasrun Pasaribu, confirmed that the investigation into the alleged corruption case in the Manggelewa Primary Hospital (RSP) construction project in Dompu Regency is still ongoing. "It's still running, there are already suspects. For details, we will officially convey it later," said Nasrun in Mataram, Antara, Friday, October 27. The progress of handling is currently still in the stage of completing the investigation evidence. If it is complete, it will officially convey it to the public. "We will definitely convey later if all the evidence is officially complete," he said. Likewise, information related to the number and role of suspects, Nasrun refused to provide information. "Later, there will be a release," he said. Prior to the position of Dirreskrimsus Polda NTB occupied by Nasrun, Ekawana's previous official conveyed the progress of handling the Manggelewa RSP case. As the Director of Criminal Investigation at the NTB Police, Ekawana said investigators had pocketed a potential state loss of Rp. 400 million. This figure was found by investigators based on a study on physical examination of buildings with construction experts. The results of the study indicated that physical work was not in accordance with the planning. However, the potential for state losses must be strengthened by the testimony of audit experts. In this case, police investigators collaborated with the NTB Representative Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP). The budget for the construction of a regional government-owned hospital project comes from the Dompu Regency APBD with a ceiling of Rp. 17 billion.

From the results of the auction, the name of the company with the initials SA from Makassar, South Sulawesi, emerged as the winner with an offering price of IDR 15.76 billion. In its construction, the project allegedly did not meet the specifications according to the plan and work plan. In fact, the project was delayed and caused a fine that was reportedly paid in full.
