Arrested, Honda Brio Putih Driver Issues Sajam On The Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road Claiming Not To Begal

JAKARTA - The police arrested a white Brio car driver who was suspected of carrying out a burglary attempt on the Jakarta-Tangerang KM 15 toll road. The driver has the initials MAP (22).

Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho said the arrest took place in the Serpong area, South Tangerang City. The arrests were made after his party coordinated with the victim with the initials Y (37).

"The perpetrator was successfully secured along with evidence of a corbek type knife (like a machete) and a white Honda Brio driven by the perpetrator," said Zain in his statement, Thursday, October 26.

Furthermore, the perpetrators were taken to the Tangerang City Metro Police for further action.

During the examination, the perpetrator admitted that he did not carry out the robbery, but was only annoyed with the complainant for driving zigzag.

"Not accepting being called by the victim while walking zigzag on the toll road, then blocking the speed of the victim's car while opening the glass and removing the knife," he said.

Based on this confession, the perpetrator was still charged with No. 12 of 1951 concerning sharp weapons and/or Article 335 of the Criminal Code regarding threats to use sharp weapons, with a penalty of 10 years in prison.
