BADUNG - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono accelerated the implementation of tenders for Gilimanuk-Bengwi toll road project investors, Bali, in November 2023.
"By the end of this month or next month (November) we can tender," said PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono in Jimbaran, Badung Regency, Bali, Thursday, October 12.
The acceleration of the tender for capital owners is carried out so that the toll road project that connects Jembrana, Tabanan and Badung Regencies can be worked on in 2024.
The Minister of PUPR explained that after the tender for investors or toll road business entities (BUJT) was successful, investors would look for contractors to work on the toll road.
Basuki ensured that the toll road was sought to continue because he projected that many investors would participate in the re-dwarf.
"It keeps on (going) for sure. If there will be a lot of sounding from the market, there will be a lot of people participating in the tender," he said.
He hopes that the project funding does not come from the budget in the APBN but through a cooperation scheme between the government and business entities (KPBU), including funding from abroad.
The Minister of PUPR added that the Toll Road Management Agency (BPJT) conducted socialization with the village party, which is planned to be traversed by the expressway, including explaining the project's re-tender.
The re-tender was carried out because it had not been able to get funding.
"Because yesterday it failed to get funding. According to the rules, we canceled (the tender)," he said.
