Police Hunt For Main Perpetrators Of Counterfeit Money Dealers In Ciledug And Tangerang

TANGERANG - Police are hunting for the main perpetrator of the counterfeit money dealer in the Ciledug area, Tangerang City. The Head of the Ciledug Police, AKP Diorisha Suryo, admitted that his party was still investigating the hunt for the main perpetrators of the counterfeit money dealer.

When asked about the number of counterfeit money dealers in his area, Diorisha was reluctant to answer. Because his party still does not know the identity of the perpetrator.

"Still under investigation," Diorisha said in a short message, Tuesday, October 10.

He confirmed that he would thoroughly investigate the case of the circulation of counterfeit money. Therefore, Diorisha asked for time to arrest the perpetrators.

"Still hunting for the other perpetrators involved in the circulation of counterfeit money," he concluded.

The police arrested a man with the initials S (23) in front of Bhakti Asih Hospital, Karang Tengah for buying a cellphone using counterfeit money.

The Head of the Ciledug Police, AKP Diorisha Suryo, explained that the perpetrators launched their actions on Tuesday, October 3.

S bought a cellphone by Cash On Delivery (COD). At the time of payment, the victim realized that the money he received turned out to be fake. Feeling cheated and harmed, the victim reported to the Ciledug Police.

"When cash payments were made, the victim realized that the money given was fake and immediately reported it to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Ciledug Police," Diorisha said in a statement seen on Monday, October 9.

The evidence found from S's hand was counterfeit money worth Rp. 950 thousand, in the form of Rp. 50 thousand denominations of 19 pieces.
