JAKARTA - The meeting of President Joko Widodo and former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo at the Merdeka Palace, Central Jakarta, Sunday, October 8 evening lasted about an hour. Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) arrived at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta at around 18.35 WIB to meet President Jokowi. The arrival of SYL was seen when a black Alphard with police number plate B-8055-ADT crossed the courtyard of the State Secretariat, the Presidential Palace area. During the meeting, SYL was received by President Jokowi and Minister of State Secretary Pratikno in Jepara Room, Merdeka Palace, Jakarta. SYL was seen wearing brown batik, while Joko Widodo and Pratikno wore white shirts. SYL seemed to be sitting upright in front of the President. At the same time, his two hands were seen holding each other. The meeting of President Jokowi and SYL after the NasDem politician submitted a letter of resignation from his position through Minister of State Secretary Pratikno at the Ministry of State Affairs Office, Jakarta, last Thursday. President Jokowi previously stated that he had received and signed SYL's resignation letter as Minister of Agriculture, following the alleged corruption case being investigated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
